From March 23 to 25, 2026, the Olivet Leadership Institute (OLI) in Colombia gathered new church leaders in training from 30 cities across 13 countries in South America for a transformative program designed to equip them to lead with faith and vision. This intensive training emphasized that leadership in the Church is not a title, but a calling to live out God’s Word, serve with humility, and guide others with integrity and courage.
Sessions focused on key passages from Romans, Exodus, and Acts, showing how God shapes new leaders through challenges and empowers them with His Spirit. Participants were reminded that spiritual transformation begins within, and leaders who embrace holiness, prayer, and courage can guide their communities toward lasting change.
A central theme was resurrection and renewal. New leaders were encouraged to confront spiritual complacency, repent, and step into ministry with renewed purpose. By modeling Christ’s love and living faithfully, they can inspire growth, unity, and transformation within the Church and beyond.
The institute highlighted holistic ministry, demonstrating how faith connects with practical service, education, and community care. New leaders explored ways to nurture the gifts of every believer, cultivating Christ-centered communities that reflect God’s kingdom on earth.
The OLI experience reinforced that leadership is about faithful stewardship of God’s calling. Every decision and act of service carries the potential to transform lives. Participants left equipped to return to their ministries with vision and courage, ready to inspire, guide, and serve their communities in Christ’s love.
Through the Olivet Leadership Institute, new leaders were reminded that the Church’s influence grows strongest when those in positions of guidance live out their faith consistently. The gathering underscored that effective leadership produces not just programs or structures, but renewed hearts and communities anchored in God’s Word.
