Olivet Assembly USA began its Summer Pioneering Mission Training 2026 on May 9 at the OAUSA headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Church planters from across the United States gathered to prepare for a new wave of church planting that will take place over the summer. Through the training, participants are being equipped to share the gospel clearly and build churches centered on the Word of God.
The main focus of the training is soteriology, the doctrine of salvation. Leaders emphasized that church planting does not depend on impressive methods or human wisdom, but on faithfully teaching the pure gospel as Apostle Paul explained in Romans. Participants were encouraged to trust in the power of the Holy Spirit, believing that the message of Christ's salvation has power to change lives.
During the training, lectures on Romans helped participants understand important themes such as faith, justification, sanctification, and victory in Jesus Christ. Through justification, believers are freed from condemnation and receive peace with God. Through sanctification, they continue to grow as holy people who leave behind sinful life and live more deeply centered on Christ.
The teaching also explained the reality of sin and the limits of the law. Romans shows that all people are under sin through Adam, and the law, though holy and good, cannot save those weakened by the flesh. True victory comes only through the gospel of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit within believers.
As the summer mission season approaches, OAUSA prays that all church planters will be strengthened by the message of salvation in Romans. With faith in God's calling and providence, they are preparing to preach the pure gospel with hope, love, and confidence, so that many people may come to know Christ and new churches may be established for God's kingdom.
