Olivet Teen Mission Marks 11th Anniversary with Celebration in Dover, New York

On April 17, Olivet Teen Mission (OTM) International commemorated its 11th anniversary with a special service held at Immanuel Chapel. The gathering brought together teens, leaders, and supporters to reflect on the ministry's growth and its ongoing mission to serve young people.

The service opened with a time of praise led by the OTM Praise Team, followed by an opening prayer from OTM headquarters staff member Ashley Barnes. The intercessory prayer was delivered by Amanda Garcia, who serves as the International General Secretary of OTM and helps coordinate the organization's global programs and initiatives.

A highlight of the celebration was a special OTM TV presentation reviewing key moments and outreach efforts from the past year following the organization's 10th anniversary. The program offered a glimpse into the ministry's expanding work and the lives impacted through its programs.

The anniversary message was delivered by David Chang, President of the World Olivet Assembly, an international Christian network that supports ministries like OTM. In his sermon, he spoke on a passage from the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 25), emphasizing the importance of serving others, especially younger and more vulnerable members of the community.

He highlighted OTM's distinctive focus on investing in teenagers and students, a group often overlooked in traditional ministry settings. The message underscored a central theme of the ministry: that serving young people is both a calling and an opportunity to express faith in action.

The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony featuring newly appointed teen leaders who will serve in OTM's small groups and departments. A group photo and the distribution of thank-you gift bags marked the end of the event.

As Olivet Teen Mission enters its second decade, the organization continues to focus on its mission of supporting and empowering young people, with the goal of helping them grow into confident and compassionate leaders.
