Rooted in the Word, Renewed for God’s Mission: Northern and Central Europe Retreat

From August 15 to 17, the Northern and Central Europe retreat was held at Olivet Center Germany, bringing together missionaries and members of the region for a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship. Many traveled with hearts longing for renewal, and the gathering testified to the abundant grace of God from beginning to end.

The retreat was centered on the Four Spiritual Laws: Creation, Fall, Salvation, and the Kingdom of God. Messages reminded attendees of God’s original design, humanity’s brokenness through sin, and the hope of salvation and restoration in Jesus Christ. By presenting the full scope of the gospel, the retreat strengthened faith and gave participants a deeper understanding of God’s redemptive plan through the work of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Moments of praise and prayer highlighted the unity of the community, as participants interceded for one another and shared testimonies of grace. Stories of perseverance and faith revealed how the love of God continues to transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit, and the fellowship became a visible witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ at work among believers.

Concluding with a message on the Kingdom of God, the retreat affirmed that Christ’s victory on the cross secures a future of hope. Many returned to their mission fields with renewed faith, fresh strength, and deeper assurance of God’s calling. The retreat established a spiritual foundation for Northern and Central Europe and left participants with a clear vision to continue building the Kingdom of God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
