Saint Luke Society's 21st General Assembly Convenes in Asia Pacific

The 21st Saint Luke Society General Assembly Asia Pacific

The 21st SLS General Assembly concluded on September 17th with a combination of online and in-person participation for the first time since the pandemic. 

Delegates from various continents gathered under the theme of 2 Corinthians 4:5, 'For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants'. 

The conference included an opening service with a guest preacher Rev. Simon, a special lecture by President Dr. Joseph Lee on SLS's identity, and a discussion session between Korea and China, signaling a renewed collaboration. 

Regional mission reports were presented on the morning of the 17th, emphasizing updates and plans for Asia Pacific, Africa, China, and Latin America. The assembly featured a touching testimony from Dr. Lin, highlighting the importance of healthcare missions. 

Representative Dr. Joseph Lee concluded with a sermon on maintaining the essence of preaching Christ and serving others as SLS aims for growth, expressing a joyful anticipation for a grand assembly next year
