From October 28 - 31, the WOA's 27th World General Assembly was held in Dover, New York. Thousands of mission and ministry representatives gathered for the three-day conference.
With the theme of the meeting taken from John 20:21, delegates convened to further the progress of the Great Commission. Through presentation sessions, strategic meetings, seminars, and consultations, Olivet Assembly mission leaders and global ministries shared what the Lord Jesus Christ has done through the Olivet network in 2019 and action plans ahead of 2020.
The World General Assembly was concluded on October 31. The closing service was held with the message taken from Romans 10:14-15. The sermon testified the amazing work of God in the past two months in the world headquarters and reminded all to prepare at any time to become professional in mission.
The theme of "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." (John 20:21) was expounded in the program encouraging all the delgates to reaffirm the love and calling of the Lord to proclaim the gospel to the world.
