Four French-Speaking Cities to Form Quadripartite Structure

The four french-speaking cities - Montreal, Rwanda, Paris and Haiti - will form a quadripartite structure that takes the helm to make headway with mission in French-speaking nations. The four-city compact will encourage interchange of information, people and funds for the purpose of strategically ameliorating united effort in French mission.

As of 2015, there are 29 nations where French is an official language. Among the 29, 21 are African nations. In addition to France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Monaco in Europe, non-African countries that speak French are Canada, Haiti (North America), and Vanuatu (Oceania).

Another 11 dependent entities use French as an official language, including French Polynesia, French Guiana, New Caledonia, Aosta Valley, and more.
