Throughout 2025, churches within World Olivet Assembly moved forward together with a shared commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Across regions and generations, the year reflected a unified spiritual direction shaped by Scripture, grounded in the work of the cross, and directed toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
From the outset of the year, the Word of God remained central to the life of the Assembly. Through leadership institutes, mission conferences, retreats, and local gatherings, Scripture continued to guide worship, prayer, and fellowship. The Word was not treated as a separate element of ministry, but as the foundation from which obedience and mission flowed, strengthening both leaders and members in biblical truth and clarity of calling.
As churches entered the season of Lent and journeyed toward Easter, attention was drawn anew to the cross of Jesus Christ. Across continents, believers reflected on Christ’s obedience, suffering, and self giving love, and were reminded that discipleship is shaped by costly grace. Easter celebrations worldwide proclaimed the victory of the resurrection while remaining firmly anchored in the message of the cross, affirming the gospel as the power of salvation and the heart of the church’s mission.
Throughout the year, the rhythm of gathering and sending continued to shape the movement of the Assembly. Believers gathered for worship, prayer, training, and encouragement, yet these gatherings consistently pointed outward. Churches advanced through small communities, discipleship groups, and mission teams, and throughout the year new churches were continually planted across regions and nations.
Mission in 2025 reflected a holistic expression of the gospel. Alongside preaching and teaching, ministries engaged education, youth formation, service, and practical care, affirming that the gospel addresses the whole person. As the year concluded with thanksgiving worship and Christmas retreats, World Olivet Assembly gave thanks for God’s sustaining grace and moved forward with confidence and hope, resolved to remain faithful to the gospel and to carry Christ’s mission to the ends of the earth.
