Jesus Is the Message: WOA Churches Mark Easter with Gospel-Driven Mission

Easter 2025

As Easter 2025 is celebrated across the globe, churches within the World Olivet Assembly are gathered with one purpose: to worship and exalt Jesus Christ. Every message, every retreat, every act of worship this season points to the cross and the empty tomb. Christ is not just part of the celebration-He is the reason for it.

From city centers to remote mission fields, the church is united in proclaiming the gospel: that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again for our justification. This unshakable faith is what drives the mission, fuels the worship, and forms the foundation of every ministry within WOA.

In North America, the recent mission training culminated in a renewed call to preach Christ alone. With hearts stirred and vision clarified, workers are being sent out to share the light of the gospel in a world that desperately needs hope-not through personal agendas, but through the living truth of Jesus.

In Central and South America, Easter retreats have begun with a strong emphasis on Christ's resurrection as the victory over death and the guarantee of eternal life. Believers are being led deeper into the Word, encountering again the power of the gospel that transforms lives.

Europe's churches are walking through the passion narrative, reflecting on the love, betrayal, and sacrifice of Christ. Through Scripture and prayer, they are being drawn back to the core of their faith-not religion, but a relationship with the risen Savior.

In Africa, the message of servanthood and sacrifice is taking root. Teachings based on Jesus' actions and words during His final days are leading many to a renewed commitment to follow His example and proclaim His name boldly.

Asia Pacific is pushing forward with clear vision and spiritual strength. With church planting goals in place, leaders are anchoring everything in the message of Christ. At Easter retreats, especially among youth, the hunger for the truth of Jesus is evident and growing.

In South Asia, daily devotionals and Holy Week gatherings are highlighting the cross as the ultimate display of love and glory. Bible studies are building up a new generation of believers who are grounded in Scripture and passionate for Christ.

Southeast Asia is carrying out structured evangelism and outreach, always with Jesus at the center. Seminars and services are lifting up the message of the cross, calling people to repentance, faith, and new life in Him.

In Oceania, the church is investing in both spiritual growth and ministry development. Whether through children's retreats, worship gatherings, or new ministry platforms, the focus remains constant: to glorify Jesus Christ and make Him known.

Across every continent, the testimony is the same. WOA churches are not moved by trends or distractions-they are rooted in the gospel. Jesus Christ is not one focus among many; He is the center of everything. His cross is the message. His resurrection is the hope. His name is the only one worth proclaiming.
