World Olivet Assembly (WOA) is entering into Q2 of 2025 with a renewed focus on Faith and Family ministries. As churches journey through the season of Lent and prepare for Easter, members are being called to reflect deeply on the servanthood of Jesus Christ-and to follow His example within their own homes, marriages, and family relationships.
This period leading to the cross is a time of self-examination, prayer, and renewal. WOA leaders see it as the right moment to strengthen families spiritually and encourage a return to Christ-centered living at home. Across the network, churches are working to expand their Faith and Family ministries by raising ministers who will walk closely with couples, parents, and singles-offering spiritual care and biblical teaching shaped by the model of Christ's love.
"In this season, we remember that Jesus gave Himself completely for the Church," said one regional Faith and Family leader. "We believe that same heart of service should be lived out in marriage, where husbands and wives love each other with humility and sacrifice."
The renewed effort includes training local leaders to serve as Faith and Family ministers in their churches-guiding newlyweds, supporting families in crisis, and helping believers build strong, godly homes. There is also a growing focus on preparing singles to form future families grounded in Scripture and mission. Small groups and Bible studies are helping young adults think about marriage not just as a life goal, but as a calling to reflect Christ's love.
Parenting is another area receiving fresh attention. Churches are developing resources to help parents raise children in the faith and create a daily home life that reflects God's truth. "Passing down faith isn't automatic-it takes intention," said a pastor involved in the effort. "We want to equip parents to lead their families spiritually, just as Christ leads the Church."
WOA strives to focus on families strengthening-rather than distracting its members from-the Great Commission. Families grounded in faith become active witnesses in their communities, raising children who serve the gospel and building homes that reflect the light of Christ.
As Lent moves toward Easter, WOA encourages members to not only remember Christ's sacrifice but also to practice it daily-in marriage, in parenting, and in every part of family life. In doing so, families become more than just homes-they become living testimonies of God's grace.
