The World Olivet Assembly (WOA) recently acquired a property in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, that will become the second Olivet Center (OC) in Africa with the first one established in South Africa. It will serve as the administrative center for Olivet Assembly Zambia as well as host retreats and programs that aim to share the hope of Jesus Christ especially with the younger generations. With a median age of less than 18 years, Zambia's population is among the youngest in the world.
"We are grateful to God for providing us with this space that will serve as a mission and training hub in this beautiful country," the representative of OA Zambia shared. "The youth in Zambia have very pure hearts and a thirst for the Word of God. We wish to equip them on their path of faith to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and apply the Bible in their daily lives. The OC will serve as a great tool as it will allow us to gather more people for programs and fellowship not only from within the city but also other regions of the country."
Formerly belonging to a Christian medical organization, the center features offices, conference and class rooms, accommodation and cafeteria. It is located in the heart of downtown Lusaka.
