WOA to Hold Upcoming World General Assembly in St. Louis, MO

St. Louis City

The World Olivet Assembly (WOA) announced that St. Louis in the US state of Missouri will be hosting its upcoming World General Assembly (WGA), which will be held from October 28-31, 2021.

The 29th WGA will bring together the mission leadership from WOA's global church network, its affiliated ministries and fellowships for its annual anniversary celebration. It will also feature devotionals, worship times, lectures and interactive workshops aimed at sharing progress and challenges, exchanging best practices, and encouraging and equipping church and ministry leaders.

Due to ongoing travel restrictions that will limit in-person attendance of leaders coming from outside the United States, the program will be designed with a hybrid format that will accommodate onsite and online participation.

"We are grateful for the progress that God has allowed in mission globally over the past year. Even though the pandemic continues to affect many of countries in different regions and we pray for it to end one day sooner, we are grateful that vaccination efforts are opening up the possibility to again hold a World General Assembly with some participation in-person," the WOA leadership wrote in a letter to its member churches. "Let us pray that all the logistics for both onsite and online participants may be prepared well, so that it may be a very meaningful WGA that gives glory to God."
