Easter Message from WOA: He is Risen!

He is Risen!

Today, Christians all over the world celebrate the life and joy of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This Easter is certainly different from any other Easters we had. Under these unprecedented circumstances, many people are under great fear of the shadow of death.

World Olivet Assembly churches are exhorted to proclaim this message of resurrection of Jesus Christ who rose victoriously from death—the power of the Lord that could not be overcome by the tomb. Christ has risen!

Jesus said to the weeping Mary & Martha who lost their dear brother: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? (John 11:25)

This power of resurrection that goes beyond the power of death should be proclaimed in today’s church more than ever and should be embedded in the hearts of believers.

Remember the moment that the Lord's resurrection was revealed to the Mary Magdalene for the first time(John 20:11-14). She was crying and with her tears, she could not recognize the risen Lord before her.

Churches and believers! We should stand firm today in this power of Resurrection. We should wipe our tears from the sorrow of Cross and lift our heads to the glory of the Lord who has risen.

“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. (Romans 4:25)”

Happy Easter!
