Latin America Leadership Conference Held in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Latin mission conference

Latin America Leadership Conference was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from February 26th to 29th, 2020.

Delegates from various countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Guyana, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela joined the meeting to discuss various topics in regards to Church Planting and Church Growth.

The meeting took place at Finca Maria Cristina in the vicinity of Buenos Aires. The program covered presentations and reports from national Olivet Assembly representatives and leaders from parachurch organizations.

Special lectures from OA pastors and ministers discussed core biblical themes that are integral at the Latin cultural and religious contexts. Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura and Sola Gratia should be the linchpin in formulating diverse education tracks in Latin American countries to lead people to the truth of salvation. When churches fall away from the key soteriological message centered on Jesus's Cross, it experiences an influx of secular influence in many dimensions. OA churches and fellowships were encouraged to uphold the gospel by proclaiming the truth boldly.

Leaders from different countries shared resources and useful tools to construct pathways for expansion of mission. The conference sought to strategize biblically themed mission direction in Latin America.
