Jubilee 16th Anniversary Service Calls to Open Ways for All to Praise, Return Glory to God

Jubilee World gave the 16th anniversary service this week in God's grace. Jubilee worship band invited congregation to praise the Lord together. The praise featured a new Jubilee original, "Look At Us," declaring the healing grace of Jesus' Name and his power to raise us up. choir members and 8 Jubilee Youth members presented the wondrous works of God in the song, "For All He's Done."

Chairwoman P. Miriam Chou delivered the message on Psalm 150:1-6. "Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness... Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!" As we gather and praise the Lord, there are great blessings pouring down, and we can feel healing happening. Jubilee needs to taste the true meaning of praise. When Moses and Miriam sang songs of praise, all Israelites came and sang together. It's the song inspired by the grace of salvation. Saved from death, God's people harbored gratitude.

Jubilee represents the year of rest. As we grow tired and weary on this path of faith, we long for rest. After 49 years of labor, the year of Jubilee follows, and the Lord brings restoration to all who are in debt. As the ministry of praise, Jubilee carries the commission usher in the rest of the Lord. True peace enters our hearts when we remember deeply the grace of the Lord.

God grants us talents and gifts so we may reveal them and return to Him the glory. Beyond praising God personally, Jubilee is called further to open a new world for all to praise God together. Jubilee's 16th Anniversary calls for such remembrance and hope for the future glory of God.
