The Nehemiah Project in New York has strengthened a team to coordinate diverse activities and projects operating in various parts of the world. It aims to stretch out its operations and network globally. The continental regions of South America, Asia Pacific, Europe as well as the US & Canada are seeking to reinforce professional construction and renovation teams to launch new projects.
The ministry is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to the work of rebuilding churches, schools, hospitals, and ministry properties. The team actively pursues ways to find Olivet Centers in many cities in the United States and beyond.
Currently, school and ministry building construction projects are actively operating in the East and West Coast. Major cities including Detroit, New York, St. Louis, Riverside, and others have extensive renovations or construction projects that envision the founding of churches and schools for future ministry and education.
In collaboration with the Olivet School of Engineering & Architecture, Nehemiah Project aims to increase its staff members and capacity through academic programs and field practices. The school is opening four-week programs in this summer that provide both classes and practice in areas of architecture and construction.
Local activities overseas also give various opportunities for people interested in using their construction and renovation knowledge and skills. The ministry in Sao Paulo holds a seminar and practice workshop to teach and train Nehemiah workers to remodel or renovate the church building. It seeks to recruit people who desire to participate in building Godly temples and education platforms in Latin America by active promotion and advertisement. The Nairobi Worship space was built by the active participation of local Nehemiah members. The large retreat center in South Korea shows progresses to build the large space to gather a great number of people who worship the Lord.
The ministry expresses the urgent and growing needs of equipping the church and school builders. "In a situation where church buildings are being sold to the secular hands and bible schools are demolished, believers should put the foremost effort of preserving Christian assets and revitalizing them by continual efforts of rebuilding and reconstructing those properties," the project director of the ministry said.
The office seeks to build the powerful platform where all projects are reviewed and ensured to make timely progress and bear fruit.
