OA India Acquires First School Formerly Owned by Missionary Couple

The Olivet Assembly of India has acquired one Christian school in Bengalore city which will open up ways to educate many young people and be raised as future leaders in the country and region.

The Green Pastures School is owned by one missionary couple who had served in Gulf region as missionaries for a long time before they moved to Arizona, United States few years ago as Rev. Dr. Ernest Victor has started working as an Anglican minister of the church there.

The school in its heyday used to have around 600 students who packed every floor. These days, the school has over 150 students with 15 classrooms evenly distributed in the three floors.

The school offers from Class 1 to Class X and the students are mostly in the age group of 6 to 15, 16 years of age.

OA South Asia general secretary thanked God for the acquisition of the school which finally reached its conclusion as both sides have agreed on the details of the acquisition and transition for the school and the students.

"We thank God Almighty for this blessing. May Praise, glory and honour be unto our Lord Jesus Christ alone," he said.

"We believe that we will be able to upgrade everything and use all for the extension of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in the region," the general secretary stated.

Currently, two churches are worshipping in the vicinity on weekend and the school has been a blessing to many people.

Once upgraded and beautified, the place can serve very well for many activities of the church in the region.
