Thanksgiving Day Celebrated Throughout United States

The nation came together on Thanksgiving Day and held gatherings to recount the blessings that God has given throughout 2016.

Philadelphia Liberty Community Church invited Elim Center to have Thanksgiving dinner at her house. It's a very graceful and warm table fellowship time. They prepared traditional Thanksgiving food, Turkey with delicious stuffing, Mashed Potato, Macaroni, Chicken, Green Bean and so on, as well as with different kind of fruits and pumpkin and cake. All of them shared joy and grace after testifying thankful hearts to God. God allowed all the members' heart to be anointed and filled with the Holy Spirit through the fellowship.

Peniel Community Church in New Haven, Connecticut held a graceful Thanksgiving Celebration Service by the grace of God. This day Pastor Eileen delivered the message entitled 'Give thanks in all circumstances' from the book of 1 Thessalonians. She explained the origin of the thanksgiving celebration in America and encouraged the congregation to count blessings they received and respond to God's grace and love.

Sophia Church held Thanksgiving Service and activity. The message from Psalm 103:1-5 was preached. "In just a few short days we will celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Today we will have Thanksgiving Sermon. It is a shame that we have only one day set aside each year to give thanks to God as a nation. We should have some time set aside each day, to give our praise to Him who has blessed us so richly. 'Praise the Lord, my soul; all my innermost being, praises his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul and forget not all his benefits.' It is a prayer of nothing but praise to God," said the minister.

Atlanta Bethel Community Church celebrate 'Thanksgiving Day service & Luncheon.' It was the third time to celebrate the season with meditating true meaning of Thanksgiving day and sharing thankful things for year. Rev. Anderson Kim delivered message from '2 Timothy 3:1~5'. "Christianity is a religion of the grace of God. It is important what we can do for God. But what is more important is the amazing grace and love of God that He has given us. We must meditate on this. When we forget that, then my heart of gratitude will disappear. Is there anything gift of God given to us that we have forgotten? We have to deeply meditate on this," said Rev. Kim.

Other cities that participated includes Boston, Seattle, Baltimore, Birmingham, San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles.
