On Saturday, Jubilee Church in Nashville, Tennessee, began hosting a two-day seminar led by Faith and Family Foundation. Discussions, introductions, and text-study on the first day were abundant with grace and information about courtship and marriage, including potential blessings and challenges people experience in relationships.

The first part of the seminar began at 10 a.m. on Saturday and focused on ice breaking and what expectations each participant has towards the seminar. This was followed by an introduction of the Faith and Family Foundation, its history and purpose and how it is currently serving churches, communities and individuals by spreading information about the Biblical meaning of marriage and providing counselling to singles and couples alike.

In the afternoon, the seminar's focus shifted towards a text-based discussion on a book that participants had been asked to study in advance: 'Choosing God's Best' by author Dr. Don Raunikar.

Some participants felt the idea of courtship seems old-fashioned in today's society, but at the same time remarked at how surprisingly relevant it is and that there is a great lack of knowledge about how to go about choosing one's spouse as a Christian, as well as the importance of extensive preparations in prayer and counselling before initiating the courtship process.

The ideal path to a happy, healthy marriage that the book speaks about challenged many participants to look at marriage and the process leading up to it in a new way, and truly put God at the center of this major life-decision.
