In recent prayer meetings, Elim Staff emphasized the importance of inner healing in restoring our relationship with Jesus Christ and with others.
Pastor Suyan, an Elim Staff Director, has been leading prayer meetings for inner healing in the San Francisco Bay Area.
"So many people want to build a close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, but something hinders them," she shared in a message at a Friday evening prayer gathering.
Addressing congregants at the church, she pointed out that many have experienced sorrows and hurt in their past that continue to influence them deeply. While we cannot change the past, God can provide inner healing and restore us in our relationship with Himself and with others.
The pastor pointed out several aspects regarding the importance of inner healing in our sanctification as Christians: it is part of the process by which our souls can be set free, it can also break the power of evil in our lives, it can help us forgive and restore relationship our relationships with others, and it helps us grow to maturity.
Led by Elim Staff, congregants prayed together, inviting the Holy Spirit into their lives, desiring to experience God's healing work in their lives and in the lives of others.
